Hi, I’m Emma — a social media manager, content creator, photographer, videographer, and storyteller with a passion for helping brands show up authentically online.
My background is a little different from the typical social media manager, and I think that’s what makes my approach unique.
I hold degrees in Dance and Journalism, with a minor in Public Relations and Mass Communications. My experience in both creative and strategic spaces has shaped the way I approach content: understanding not only how something looks, but also who it’s for, what it communicates, and why people should care.
While in college, I spent years building experience behind the scenes of brands, organizations, and creative communities. I managed the University of Florida Dance Instagram for two years, served as the photographer and videographer for Danza Dance Company, and managed the Florida DIAS Instagram for two years.
I also spent six weeks in Lewiston, Maine, managing social media for Bates Dance Festival — creating content in a fast-paced environment while capturing the energy, people, and stories that make a community worth following.
my approach
I believe great social media is about more than following trends or posting just to post.
It’s about creating a presence that feels intentional, recognizable, and true to your brand.
Whether I’m behind a camera, editing a video, planning a content strategy, or managing an account, I approach every project with the same goal: to help people tell their story in a way that connects.
My background in dance has taught me creativity, collaboration, and how to communicate without always needing words. Journalism has taught me the importance of storytelling and understanding an audience. Public relations has taught me how to think strategically about messaging and brand identity.
I bring all of that together to create content that doesn't just look good — it has a purpose.
Because your social media should feel like an extension of your brand, not another thing on your to-do list.
Let’s create something people want to stop and pay attention to.
